I know that you use and recommend Lucas oil treatments but I've read lately that it can be bad for engines. I wonder what is your opinion about it.
I use it, yes. But I use it on the older, worn-out engines and it helps build up the compression because it is a thicker oil and I believe it has molybdenum sulfate, which is a very good metal cleaner that clings on to metal. But I wouldn’t use it on a modern new engine that doesn’t have any problems because those modern cars are made for the 0W10 oil, which is super light. You don’t want to use them on a car that uses very light-weight oil.

When added to fuel, it cleans and lubricates all components from the fuel tank to the cylinders. When added to your oil, Lucas Complete Engine Treatment cleans your engine and forms a protective barrier against heat and friction, improves oil flow in cold weather and extends oil life.
According to Lucas, the oil stabilizer will not only prolong the life of an engine, but it will also provide you with approximately 50% more time between oil changes.
A: We recommend adding a bottle of Lucas Transmission Fix each time you change your transmission fluid (approximately every 30-40,000 miles), or adding a bottle to your current fluid to fix a small leak.
Without additives, the oil is essentially unable to perform its critical functions. Wear, oxidation, and decomposition can cause the oil to degrade over time. Engine oil can lose its additives the older the oil gets.
In doing so, Lucas Fuel Stabilizer effectively preserves your fuel for up to 12 months or longer.
Lucas Pure Synthetic Oil Stabilizer reduces friction for more power and more MPG. It eliminates dry starts in new engines and provides the extra protection needed for import and domestic engines requiring newer, lighter engine oils.
Directions For Use
Deep clean as needed, at least every 3 to 4 thousand miles. 16oz Bottle – For a Deep Clean, pour entire bottle into fuel tank and fill with any grade gasoline, up to 30 gallons. Deep clean as needed, at least every 3 to 4 thousand miles.
Allow a few days for Lucas Engine Oil Stop Leak to correct this problem. To keep this problem corrected a quart (or liter) will probably have to be added with each oil change. Use 20% of system capacity (example: 1 quart of Lucas Engine Oil Stop Leak to 4 quarts of motor oil.)
Oil additives can effectively reduce wear and stress on your engine to boost its long-term performance. Lubricants like antifoamants and anti-wear oil additives coat engine parts to prevent stiffness and seizure.
Since Lucas Heavy Duty Oil Stabilizer is 100% petroleum, it can safely blend with all other automotive lubricants including automatic transmission fluid, mineral oil, petroleum oils, and synthetic oils. As an added benefit, it can be used with every oil change and safely extends oil life 50% longer.
The recommended dosage is 2-3 ounces of Fuel Treatment for every 10 gallons of gasoline or diesel fuel. Pour Lucas Fuel Treatment directly into fuel tank. Exceeding the recommended dosage is not harmful to your vehicle.
It`s best to do a hot oil hair treatment every week or every two weeks, depending on your preference. Hot oil treatments will help deposit oil back into your hair and prevent the dryness that can contribute to breakage. Adding a DIY hot oil treatment to your weekly routine can also help repair damaged hair.
This reduces metal-to-metal contact and friction — a major contributor to heat, wear, and premature aging of engine parts. STP® Oil Treatment fights this metal-to-metal friction by providing a thicker cushion of oil between moving engine parts, thus helping to protect against engine wear.
In engines use approximately 20% or one quart to each gallon of any plain motor oil, petroleum or synthetic. In badly worn engines, use more up to 60% or 80% if necessary. In manual transmissions and transfer cases use 25% to 50%. In differentials use 25% to 50%.
Lucas Fuel Treatment should definitely be used in vehicles that require leaded fuel because it actually replaces the benefits of lead in gasoline without causing harmful emissions. Use it to pass smog tests. Finally, it totally neutralizes the harmful effects of low sulfur diesel fuel.
Lucas Oil has its plants in the United States. The original plant in Corona, California, which also housed Lucas Oil Corporate Headquarters and several affiliated companies, was closed in late 2022, moving the corporate HQ to Indianapolis, Indiana. Lucas Oil Products, Inc.
Simply put, the shelf life of conventional motor or “lube” oil is up to five years. It`s not something that goes bad in a couple of months. It`s impossible to predict exactly how long motor oil shelf life is because petroleum stability (how well it resists change in its properties) is situation-dependent.
Motor oils are graded based on their viscosity. 5w 20 and 5w 30 engine oils are commonly used in colder temperatures. However, they are recommended for older engines and light-duty use. This is because an oil with a higher rating indicates that it is thicker and suits well those engines which run hot easily.
You can easily add too much of a high-quality diesel fuel additive. What happens when you over-treat your diesel fuel? Overdosing can lead to a whole new list of fuel and engine issues from clogged filters to overall decreased engine performance and efficiency. If you`re losing lubricity, don`t over-treat.
Lucas Oil Deep Clean Fuel System Cleaner is a powerful fuel additive designed to clean the entire fuel system from the gasoline tank, to the fuel pump and fuel injectors. In addition, it removes carbon deposits on intake valves and combustion chambers, including piston tops.
You can use it as many times as you want. At every fill up if you wish.

Oiling your hair 1-2 times a week is enough. Doing it everyday can attract dirt and also strip away essential oils from your hair. Combing, rubbing and vigorously massaging your hair with oil can also cause breakage. So, follow the steps we mentioned and healthy, beautiful hair will follow.
